Dr. R Kesavan

                 Dr. R. Kesavan is a stalwart in the field of Production Management and Industrial Engineering. He completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy in the year 1979. He was a part of renowned Ashok Leyland for more than a decade. He completed his post-graduation in Production Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology in the year 1986. He completed his MBA from Madras University in the year 1990. He started his academic career as a lecturer in the Department of Production technology from 1990 till 2004, during this time he successfully completed his PhD from College of Engineering, Guindy in the field of Ergonomics in the year 2004. He continued as Assistant Professor from 2004 to 2005 and Associate Professor till 2008. From 2009 onwards he is working as Professor in the Department of Production tech at Madras Institute of Technology.

                He is very well known in the academic world with about 52 publications in reputed journals. He has authored 8 books which are referred throughout the nation. He guided 6 PhD candidates and currently 11 scholars are enrolled under him. Presently Dr. R. Kesavan is the Head Department of Production tech and also Additional Director of Students Affairs, Anna University. Dr. R Kesavan is regularly invited in the reputed Universities of Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia for presenting lectures and attending various conferences.
