Instructions for abstract Submission 

Please read the submission guidelines before submitting an abstract.

  • All the abstracts must be submitted via this website. E-mailed abstracts will not be considered.
  • The presenting author must be listed as the first author and to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  • Please note the submitting author will receive all correspondence about the abstract so we advise that the submitting author details that are entered are the same details as those of the presenting author.​
  • Abstracts needs to be original and previously presented will not be accepted.
  • Submitted abstracts should include non-published data.
  • The abstract should be on a separate page next to the covering letter.
  • Abstract title - limited to 20 words in Sentence Case.
  • Abstract text – limited to 250 - 350 words in a single paragraph.
  • Abstract layout - Abstracts must clearly state the following sections:

Purpose (stating the main purposes and research question)

Methods

Results

Conclusion

Please mention that if you are submitting an abstract to be considered for the “Young Psychologist Competition – YPC 2019”.

All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the Conference website prior to the Conference.

Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission. You are welcome to bring an updated abstract while submitting your full paper.

Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation e-mail after clicking the final submit button. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us.

 

Other Requirements 

Before you begin, please prepare the following Documents:

1 Covering letter: The abstract should be submitted along with covering letter stating the title of the study, sub-theme, name of the participant(s) (Author and co-authors' details) along with supervisor’s name, department, institution, city, state (if relevant), country, contact number and e-mail address (should be the same details as the submitting author so that the presenting author receives the correspondence about the abstract). The covering letter should be addressed to “The Organising Committee, YPC-2018, Department of Psychology, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru and signed by all the participants along with the signature of the supervisor.

2 Certificate: A certificate from the Head of the Department or Principal stating that the participant is a bonafide student of the institution and that the paper is an original work.

3 identity card: Photocopy of the participant's college identity card.

 

ABSTRACT SUBMITTERS' DECLARATION

During abstract submission you will be asked to sign a declaration form.
